Location Village Green, East Prawle, South Devon

A full day on the village green bringing together live music, food, drink and a proper mix of things to see and do.

East Prawle Festival starts this May with a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere set around the green, with something happening throughout the day.

Expect a mix of live music, local traders, food stalls and activities across the site.

What to Expect

  • Live music featuring a mix of local acts and surprise guests

  • Market on the Green with local makers and independent traders

  • Animal encounters & birds of prey displays

  • Circus workshops, magic and family entertainment

  • Dog obstacle course with prizes for the fastest times

  • Land train running through the village

Food & Drink

The village will be fully open throughout the day, including:

  • The pub serving food and drinks including pizzas, burgers, fish & chips.

  • Café for ice cream, coffee and light bites & takeaway food.

  • Bars serving beer, cider, wine and soft drinks

Community

The purpose of the festival is to support the local community in a meaningful and lasting way. Funds raised are directed towards local charities and community groups, helping to sustain and grow the organisations that matter most. At the same time, the festival provides valuable support to local independent businesses across the village and surrounding areas.

Prawle Fair

The traditional village fair will be held on the Cricket Pitch and organised by the Prawle Fair Committee. With classic stalls, games and community activities, it remains a long-standing East Prawle tradition and an important part of the village’s annual celebrations. Practical Info

  • Parking available at Prawle Fair (£4 per car)

  • Public toilets can be found on the Village Green, The Pigs Nose Inn, The Piglet Stores and The Prawle Fair site.

  • Dogs welcome on leads

  • Arrive early — it gets busy
