P.P. Arnold is a legend. Arriving in England as an Ikette with the Ike
and Tina Turner Revue, P.P. was spotted by Mick Jagger who immediately convinced Andrew Loog Oldham to sign her to his "Immediate" record label in 1967. Several huge hits followed, the best-known being 'The First Cut Is The Deepest', 'Angel Of The Morning' and '(If You Think You're) Groovy'. P.P. was one of the iconic faces of London's Swinging 60's.
P.P. has collaborated, recorded, worked and toured alongside such
luminaries as The Rolling Stones, The Small Faces, with her own band 'The Nice' led by Keith Emerson, Jimi Hendrix, Rod Stewart, Barry Gibb, Eric Clapton, Humble Pie, Nick Drake, Roger Waters, Ocean Color Scene, Primal Scream and the lists goes on.
Her West End credits include 'Catch My Soul" a Rock Othello, Andrew
Lloyd Webber's 'Starlight Express', as well as the Olivier Award
Winning "Once On this Island". The T.V. credits for P.P. Arnold include, 'Ready Steady Go', Top Of The Pops, Pop Quiz, Rock Family Trees, Absolutely Fabulous, Jools Holland, T.F.I. Friday and many others in England and across Europe.

THE SWINGING BLUE JEANS
What can be said about The Swinging Blue Jeans that has not already been documented? Originally formed in 1962 by Ray Ennis the band had their first recording contract with HMV.
The Swinging Blue Jeans first release was ‘Too Late Now’ and was followed by such memorable hits as ‘The Hippy Hippy Shake’ – ‘Good Golly Miss Molly’ – ‘You’re No Good’ and ‘Don’t Make Me Over.
The Swinging Blue Jeans are Alan Lovell (lead vocals/lead guitar), Pete Oakman (bass/vocals), Jeff Bannister (keyboards/vocals) and Graham Hollingworth (drums) Come along and see why this phenomenal and exiting band is in constant demand both in the UK and abroad.
FAB are a local Devon powerful covers band that perform a wide range of hits and great floor fillers from the sixties. Songs that you know and love from The Beatles, Hollies, Stones and the Who.
