Tankus the Henge is the London based, five wheeled, funk fuelled, open top, custom paint job, rock ‘n’ roll jalopy that comes careering round the corner on a tranquil summer’s day. Ruining the silence and disturbing the bats.

Having played over 1000 shows all over the world the Tankus the Henge live experience is something to behold. Combining wild showmanship and musical dexterity their sound incorporates rock, funk, blues, ska, roots and gypsy rhythms and their songs tell stories of wonder and woe.
Since the release of their first album in 2013 the band has toured extensively across Europe and also become a favourite on the festival circuit.

“..I love that. It reminds me of a mixture of early Kinks, Squeeze and a bit of Blur mashed in. His voice is his own, …so great. I love it.” Dave Davies – The Kinks

“….a virtual carnival of sound that’s high on energy and deep on soul. With copious helpings of R&B blues, funk, disco, Django, a dose of Dexy’s, a drop of Ray Davies and a pinch of Madness emerging throughout the eleven tracks – it’s an exciting mélange of sound.” – The Guardian. Simon Wells

The Cabarats

The Cabarats bring a new musical experience to the global underground. Using a collection of intriguing instruments, the group concoct a spell-binding musical potion designed to thrill and entertain audiences far and wide.

The potion combines the haunting eastern sound of the Oud with the delicate beauty of the Accordion. The magic is embellished further with the addition of guitar, brass, percussion and glockenspiel. Throw in a solid rhythm section and captivating vocal melodies and it's nearly there. Finally, chuck in a few rats, give it a stir and the spell is cast!

With the potion complete, The Cabarats set out to share their magic at festivals, venues, parties and even a few street corners. Keep your eyes out for a performance near you!
